“The Rock”, located inside the Exton Carpet & Rug Company located at 160 Park Road, Downingtown, PA 19335 (Corner of Route 100 and Park) by Pearls Market. As this name implies, this “open mic” is open to the public. This open mic is relatively new and is a works-in-progress; it has been running on Tuesday since Labor Day 2011. This group was started to provide a place for acoustic instrument musicians of all playing levels to meet, jam, collaborate and have fun playing with others. The hope is to have a convenient location and time for regular biweekly jams. Another goal is to find a venue to host a regular open-mic.
